World’s best bull riders compete for “Texas-sized” $100,000 purse

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo will offer a record $100,000 purse on Saturday, Feb. 25 when the PRCA Xtreme Bulls Tour comes to Texas. The San Antonio Xtreme Bulls event always brings ProRodeo’s best bull riders to town – and it figures to be something of an extreme “grudge match” with such big money at stake.

Bracketed Format Offers Excitement at San Antonio Rodeo

SAN ANTONIO, Texas — The largest regular-season rodeo in the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association is two-thirds over but the best competition is likely yet to come.
All of the contestants have made at least two appearances here in their respective brackets. The fifth and final bracket just has one round left before the first semi-finals starts on Tuesday night. With paychecks coming every night and semi-finals qualifications based on money, all of the contestants are going for a first place check with nearly every ride or run.
